主要用途
聚丙烯酰胺是重要的水溶性聚合物，而且兼具絮凝性、增稠性、耐剪切性、降阻性、分散性等寶貴性能。這些性能隨著衍生物離子的不同而各有側重。因而在采油、選礦、洗煤、冶金、化工、造紙、紡織、制糖、醫藥、環保、建材、農業生產等部門都有廣泛的使用。
使用特性
1PAM能使懸浮物質通過電中和，架橋吸附作用，起絮凝作用。

2能通過機械的、物理的、化學的作用，起粘合作用。

3PAM能有效地降低流體的摩擦阻力，水中加入微量PAM就能降阻50—80%。

4：PAM在中性和酸條件下均有增稠作用，當PH值在10以上PAM易水解。呈半網狀結構時，增稠將更明顯。

聚丙烯酰胺使用量說明

1、洗煤用的陽離子聚丙烯酰胺的使用數量可以設置在三十公斤到一百一十公斤之間；化工行業的廢水使用量一般是五十到一百二十公斤之間；漂染行業的廢水和造紙行業的廢水最難處理，應該加大使用數量，把使用數量設置在一百到三百公斤比較合理，電鍍廢水行業和普通的工業用水一般都不要超過五十公斤。注意：（這幾種行業的使用數量都是每一千噸廢水的數量）。

2、生活污水根據處理方法的不同脫泥用的絮凝劑是不一樣的。

如果工藝主體采用生化方法，也就是剩余污泥脫水（可能含有部分初沉泥），只需要陽離子PAM作為污泥脫水劑即可。

如果工藝主體采用物化方法，如一級強化，加載磁分離等工藝，一般是先加PAC調質，然后再加陰離子絮凝劑，最后加陽離子絮凝劑脫水。具體投加量要根據污水水質而定。

也有很多污水處理站，污泥脫水直接加PAC或者其他無機絮凝劑即可，這個在板框壓濾機，特別是電子廠或者是小型污水處理站應用比較廣泛。

PAM在作為污泥脫水劑使用的時候一般要與水的配比在0.1%--0.2%之間。溶解成膠水狀的液體以后，再投加到污泥中進行混合處理。

與污泥的配比一般在5%--10%，有的更低，這個要根據污泥的濃度來確定，最好是通過現場的燒杯實驗來確定最佳投加量和使用型號。不同污泥、不同藥劑、不同設備、不同管理水平，污泥的處理效果是不同的。

3、污水處理廠用陽離子聚丙烯酰胺作為污水運營污泥脫水劑。在和客戶溝通的過程中，客戶經常問到在污水處理污泥脫水過程中，污泥脫水劑投加量的問題。要相對準確的知道污泥脫水劑投加量的問題，首先了解這些參量，污泥的含水率，泥餅含水率，進泥量，進藥量，配藥濃度等。

污泥含水率：污泥中所含水分的重量與污泥總重量之比的百分數稱為污泥含水率。

泥餅含水率：被脫污泥即泥餅的所含水分的重量與污泥總重量之比的百分數稱為泥餅含水率。

還要通過以下幾個公式進行運算

1、加藥量mg/L=加藥質量/處理水量/配藥濃度

2、處理水量投加藥量=處理水量m3/h*加藥量g/m3

3、干泥量=處理水量*【（1-污泥含水率）/（1-泥餅含水率）】

4、每噸干泥的藥劑消耗g/m3=加藥量/干泥量

以上計算所得結果誤差可能比較大，僅做污水運行時參考。實際耗藥量要進行實際上機運營試驗。
