二甲基甲酰胺（DMF）：C3H7NO。性質：無色、淡的氨氣味的液體。分子量73.10。相對密度0.9445（25℃）。熔點-61℃。沸點152.8℃。閃點57.78℃。與水和通常有機溶劑混溶,與石油醚混合分層。用途：可用于聚丙烯腈纖維等合成纖維的濕紡絲、聚氨酯的合成；用于塑料制膜；也可作去除油漆的脫漆劑；用作聚氨酯、聚丙烯腈、聚氯乙烯的溶劑，亦用作萃取劑、醫藥和農藥殺蟲脒的原料。石油化學工業中，二甲基甲酰胺可作為氣體吸收劑，用來分離和精制氣體。用作分析試劑和乙烯樹脂、乙炔的溶劑，農藥工業中可用來生產殺蟲脒；DMF合成主要是采用一步法工藝，由二甲胺與一氧化碳在以甲酸鈉為催化劑、溫度50-100℃、壓力1Mpa條件下直接合成。
