產品描述：Sodium phenylbutyrateSodium 4-phenylbutyrate(TriButyrate), a Histone deacetylase inhibitor, is terminal aromatic substituted fatty acid that has been used for the treatment of urea cycle disorders._x000D_ IC50 Value: 1-5 uM [1]_x000D_ Target: HDAC_x000D_ in vitro: In comparison, the carboxylate histone deacetylase inhibitors sodium valproate, sodium butyrate, and 4-phenylbutyrate were less potent (IC50 range 1-5 uM) [1]. Treatment with sodium 4-phenylbutyrate, but not with glycerol or dimethylsulfoxide, reduced the amount of detergent-insoluble myocilin aggregates, diminished myocilin interaction with calreticulin, and restored the secretion of mutant myocilin. Sodium 4-phenylbutyrate treatment of cells coexpressing mutant and wild-type myocilin relieved ER stress and significantly reduced the rate of apoptosis. Treatment with 4-PB resulted in the significant in vitro and in vivo growth inhibition of pancreatic tumor cells.
